 How The Republicans Stole Christmas is a book basically describing how conservatives turned a Scrooge type character into someone virtuous, revered and imitated, while the liberals, to keep in step with the ‘new virtue’, adopted a less tender heart to the poor, a tougher stance to combat crime mire warmongering attitude to save face and not be considered ‘weak’. In short, Jesus today would be more like them or he’d be a punk. Rewriting spiritual morality is nothing new with there always being so many sheep and so few shepherds. But if you personally want to change (and change is ALWAYS personal), start by giving   just one dollar to the poor you pass by everyday. But it that offends your conditioned sensibilities, try tipping your cashier a buck. They’re fit the description of hardworking. And if that offends you because you’re conditioned not to give someone a fish but teach them to fish  (even though your lifestyle has made you too busy to teach anyone), then continue ...

  I love it when white folk succeed! But I hate when they start spouting that ‘On the merits’, ‘Your own steam’ and ‘Character will out’ nonsense, as if their promotion didn’t come from a tap on the shoulder or their loan approval was from their sky-high credit score and not their white face. Or how it’s a cardinal sin if they and their opinions on race and everything else is not lauded as the most astute in the room. Their white author suggestion for resolving all issues Black is a gem that they insist we do not ignore. Even the term ‘White Privilege’ is a euphemism for the white savagery that mauls our minds and our streets. I call it the Atticus Finch syndrome; how they need to be deemed the moral center in a racist, immoral world,  demanding that we co-sign on their delusion or face the thunder of their disgust!  How many times do I have to hear how they voted in 2008 and 2012? And like trained seals, we’re supposed to clap again and again ‘Aargh! Aargh!’ Just put it ...

Constant police harassment and being hashtagged is one thing, but there’s no racism quite like that everyday racism: ‘You’re not like the other nigroes’ or ‘You’re not the right fit’ or ‘I don’t know about her!’ or ‘You did it right, but I expected you to do it THIS way’  or ‘I know you have the credentials and the passion but tell me again why you think you’re the right person for this position’ or ‘Try harder fitting in’  or ‘You’re arrogant (the new uppity)’ and countless other evils that aren’t as obvious as ‘keep your head down like a slave’. The truth is that we all think bad thoughts all the time, and I’m sure that there are epic internal battles being waged, visually, I see nothing and that says a lot. So let me start: I remember years back how I thought that one of my employers short changed my pay.  Community policing ONLY! Fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres patrolling and brutalizing Black spaces! Again, it’s not an isolated incident if we each have a story. “On May 15, 2010, police apprehended Browder and a friend on Arthur Avenue near East 186th Street in the Belmont section of the Bronx.  Browder said he was going home from a party. He thought the police were carrying out a routine stop-and-frisk, a police procedure he had undergone on a number of occasions.” Kalief’s bail was $10,000 which means that a mere $900 would’ve set him free. The question is not how we can’t even come up with a mere $900, but how we continue to stomach their leeching off of our Black bodies?!? Do you know that the former Black attorney general did a study (they paid mainly white educators to do it) showing that out of 21,000 Ferguson residents, 16,000 had outstanding warrants?!? Do you know that another county had fired 15 of their white cops from elsewheres  who were soon afte...

 So I’m leaving FB in January because I said I would if 45 did not cinch the November election. Commonsense told me that the DNC mandate warning lib candidates to show us no love meant that Black folk en-masse in swing states (the determining factor in the election) would not flood the polls because they were given no incentive. But the Democratic Party did for the first time what the Republicans always do; instead of calling their constituents to the polls, they sent the polls to their homes in the form of mail-in ballots! Pretty clever, actually. I tend to attribute it to prayer, but it might just be someone’s ingenuity, or a little if both.  For me, this is a win win: 1. Lesser of two evils where the white savagery can go back to its previously intolerable levels and 2. I get to use this time that I’ve been pointing out commonsense to a nonsense narrative for other ventures. I will still have my blog set up if anyone is interested.

The US debt is now over 27 trillion dollars. Sheep have lazy mindsets. They won’t know what to make of this statement until their media masters whitesplain their narrative. But that’s ok because they’re sheep. Now for everyone else, we Google and see that it’s true (and even a conservative estimate). Then we compare it to where it was when 45 took office. And for the more astute, we look at the deficit and where it is now. Deficit is our lack of ability to pay it back. A surplus would enable us to pay it back little by little.  Breaking even would mean that we have just enough to keep it at this level by paying off the interest of what we owe. I think that’s enough thinking for today.

So many white people and the Black folk who worship them just go by what the racist media spews out. Meanwhile, they conveniently fail to mention the HORRORS of white savagery all around! For example, their media says that the Black Baller shoe is garbage and that’s what we Black folk regurgitate... and it somehow makes us feel good to say the negative because that’s what we’ve been conditioned to do all of our lives! Some science even says that our mistrust and disdain for any fellow Black woman or man’s progress is now embedded in our DNA.  I can’t speak on that but we’ve ALL seen how the Black critics and haters come on so strong that the white ones barely have time to lift a finger! I read SHOE DOG by Phil Town of Nike fame. He described his shoe in his own words earlier on as garbage! You’d put them on and they broke apart on your foot as soon as you started running.They didn’t remain garbage because he found a better and cheaper manufacturer overseas. The money and credential...

 We Black men have just gotta do the opposite of what they say and ignore the naysayers. They’re not for us anyway. Both Black and white laughed and reviled Venus and Serena’s dad’s vision. We need to go out and buy his book! They scoffed at this dad here until they were forced to imitate to stay relevant. They eliminated the Black Panthers but incorporated their CHILD breakfast program all across America. Ice Cube, a man with 30+ YEARS of pro Black credentials who demands that both parties not get something for  nothing and calls us to leverage our vote (the Shirley Chisholm way) gets reviled by their media - and we follow suit. While white cops from elsewheres all over this country who are 95% of the police force patrolling and brutalizing and hashtagging in Black spaces voted for 45 and we say NOTHING about that because our media masters haven’t told us to. I want to open an account with an online Black owned bank by the end of the year. I’ll treat it as an investment in us instead of merely depositing my money. After switching to a community bank, this is my next step. It’s a real challenge and I’m not the ONLY as the racist narrative has ingrained in us NOT to trust one another. The science even says that by now, that mistrust is conditioned right into our DNA. I can’t speak either way on that, but I do know that anything that benefits us will be reflexively targeted. Just like as we invest in Black farmers, we know that they get their most needed loans 18 months (on average) after their white counterparts. And when we invest in housing, eminent domain has been declared. Or a business storefront, cops will target our licenses because the area is mandated to be gentrified. But we cannot ignore the upside. If 40 million of us invest just $100,  that’s 4 billion dollars in loan money for business ventures that we NEVER would’ve receive...

 After wallowing in white savagery unabated for most of your life, don’t try to be a superhero when someone says  ‘I don’t know about her!’ and confront them with ‘What do you mean by that?!?’ Instead, when you overhear the water cooler racist rant, just start by walking on by instead of gathering around and listening in. And pray about it. Everything is spiritual. I know that if I were white, being spooned this savagery all of my life, you couldn’t tell me NUTHIN’! Any opportunity, promotion or career path I missed out on (and there wouldn’t be many, given how smart I am) would be the fault of that one Black woman that the company, bank, school or government was mandated to accept/ employ. That’s not something that you get over with the switch of a light. And it’s certainly not something you do without help. And when the help is given, savagery dictates that you condemn the advice if it paints you in less than a stellar light. Which is why most of your Black friends/coworkers...

 Here’s a parable; stop me if you’ve heard it. There was a christian woman constantly confessing her sins because the more she confessed, the more her sinful nature was exposed to her - yet she was happy and buoyant! After a lifetime, she and many of her friends were called to Jesus. The other christians balked at her favored treatment  asking “Why is her crown bigger than ours?!?” The Lord replied that the crowns are ALL the same, it’s just that her head is so much smaller.

 The fact that I did not see Biden winning in 2020 bears repeating and because I pledged to be off FB should I be wrong and I strive to be true to my word, I’ll be off FB beginning in late January 2021 when Biden and Kamala officially take the White House - or sooner if they have to do an Obama and move in earlier to stabilize the country. I was wrong. 45 didn’t win due to the Dems being mandated to show us no love in swing states, giving Black folk zero incentive to brave the the polls en-masse. Instead, some bright souls came up with something new, of bringing the polls to them via sending them early voting rosters! Didn’t see that coming! Commonsense has its limits via patterns; new variables are often a game changer. I’ve really enjoyed this over a decade of having a voice. And I’ll be leaving on a good note and thankfully, a friend had the foresight a while back to set me up with a blog, so there’s that. I’m grateful for those who have schooled me on what is vs. what I thought...

 We cannot compete with their national narratives. If they say that Black men are being wooed by 45 in record numbers and we say ‘not true’, we’re in denial. If we point out his overwhelming white supporters, we’re blame shifting. And once the story’s out there, the sheep will immediately bleat a response without giving the premise much thought. It’s because he chose a Black woman VP and we Black men hate that. It’s because 45’s brand of bucking the system appeals to us. It’s because we’re disenchanted with Obama. In short, they can say whatever they want and we’ll keep falling for the same shtick again and again. It’s how Chappelle can go on a crack binge in Africa because he balked at their not paying him according to his contract. How Marissa Alexander, a victim of spousal abuse which put her in the hospital in the past is deemed ‘no Angel’. Or how a kid, just trying to get home is murdered by a stalker, while the media blames his watching MMA on TV and the hoodie that he wore. ...
