Fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres patrolling and brutalizing Black spaces!

Again, it’s not an isolated incident if we each have a story.

“On May 15, 2010, police apprehended Browder and a friend on Arthur Avenue near East 186th Street in the Belmont section of the Bronx.

Browder said he was going home from a party. He thought the police were carrying out a routine stop-and-frisk, a police procedure he had undergone on a number of occasions.”

Kalief’s bail was $10,000 which means that a mere $900 would’ve set him free.

The question is not how we can’t even come up with a mere $900, but how we continue to stomach their leeching off of our Black bodies?!?

Do you know that the former Black attorney general did a study (they paid mainly white educators to do it) showing that out of 21,000 Ferguson residents, 16,000 had outstanding warrants?!?

Do you know that another county had fired 15 of their white cops from elsewheres

who were soon after rehired in Ferguson, including Darren Wilson, the murderer of Michael Brown?

It’s like there’s some sort of spell preventing folk from seeing the obvious. Either we break the spell or the spell breaks us.

Can’t wait ‘til we have our own media. Everything changes.

WE DEAL WITH RACISM ON ALL FRONTS We deal with systemic racism on all fronts. We mentor; we start programs to protect our kids; we fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres patrolling and brutalizing Black spaces who funnel in the drugs and the guns with impunity then lock up our kids for having (or using) them. And where do kids get guns for drive-bys? (Rhetorical) And do an inordinate amount of crimes occur in Black spaces in Baltimore and Detroit and L.A. as opposed to NY because Black folk in our city have more character and higher morals? (Also rhetorical) It’s because cops are not allowed to pump these things in here! We do have CHILD rape rings here which rival Florida, Texas and possibly even California (California is a dense, big state). We need to fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres patrolling and brutalizing Black spaces! And regarding the white people and the Black folk who worship them who aid systemic racism through complicity, ignorance and arrog...

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSUASION AND CONVICTION Decades ago, in my teens, my oldest brother and I had a talk where I said, “Can you believe that they’re having another gay pride parade?” He told me that he participated in a gay pride parade. Then we just stared at one another - and because many don’t know how to communicate without language, I will translate: Me: (But you’re not gay) Him: (True, but our struggle is their struggle and theirs is ours) Me: (Hmmm. Now I have to rethink everything because this is my brother whom I love challenging my core beliefs). I was persuaded that day. Today, my brother is long dead but I’m still reposting. That’s called CONVICTION.

REPENTING OF RACISM Racism means that firing ALL of the white cops from elsewheres patrolling Black spaces who hashtag, frame, brutalize, flood our streets with drugs and guns and whisk our kids away in CHILD rape rings to them and to others is considered ‘radical’ and ‘racist’, needing more ‘moderate’ measures like bodycams, civilian oversight and liability insurance instead, because the underlying racist premise that we’re programmed to think but NEVER (or rarely) say is that we are incapable of policing ourselves and that white cops from elsewheres are the last bastion of defense against utter chaos in our streets. But let just one cop do to them a fraction of what’s been done to us and the whole world 🌍 upends where they’ll fire, suspend or ban an entire precinct - including its chief - for the ill action of just one or two.
