Never banter with white folk about reparations. It’s like arguing with your boss about wages they haven’t paid you. The only acceptable answer, whether they can give it or not, is “Yeah… You right!” Anything less from them is pure toxicity.

  ‘Opportunities’ are a part of systemic racism as well. Let me Blacksplain. The lotto is called the poor tax because poverty is lack of opportunity.  We pack the bottom half of every MLM (multi level marketing) venture from Amway to Prepaid Legal and every Sousou money system because the traditional bank loans, grants, allotments are off limits to us.  Whenever gov’t sponsored business mandates come up, they find ways to nix us out of the running.  And of course, pouring our energies in good faith into something that’s supposedly egalitarian but really isn’t is a major drain on our already depleted time and emotional resources.  We casually talk about how Johnson publishing (Ebony, Jet) was started when a Black man, after asking for a loan for his business from 15 banks, goes back to the 1st one and gets it because he NOW says that he needs the money to go on vacation!  We boast about how he managed to ‘beat the system’! Commiserate when broken down means com - with and miserari - lament. The act of lamenting with one another is more than sympathizing or even empathizing; it is informing.  For example, John Carlos did a speech on YouTube commiserating about how putting his black-gloved fist in the air in protest for human rights cost him his marriage. What I didn’t know until then was that it wasn’t a divorce, but his wife suicided under all of the pressure!  His sacrifice paved the way - but the cost! But what he mentioned also was that when firemen (all or mostly white) would put out blazes in Black areas, no matter how small, they would chop up all the furniture and toss it out the window.  Now we had a similar experience that I thought nothing about until this was mentioned!  If I deposit money in a major or community bank, it’s safe. If I invest it at a Black bank, it may get taken over by a larger one where I’ll still get it back, but the whole point of switching is so that we can begin to build. Because if they jilted the small white businesses during Covid by sending their allotted loans to the bigger corps., then guess what they’re going to do with those PPP loans where small Black businesses are supposed to be the “priority”! (I touch base with other small Black business owners to see how their loan process is going because that’s energy that I do not have to waste). So either these Black banks have been negligent in the past or targeted or both. That’s why I call it an investment rather than just a deposit. Now not every big (and therefore white) bank needed a bailout during that last “crisis”. But every big bank got one, whether they needed it or not!  When I say FIRE ALL OF THE WHITE COPS FROM ELSEWHERES!, it’s so our CHILDREN and GRANDCHILDREN won’t have to do what we do when approached by police: Keep your gaze down and don’t eyeball them directly, even when they say LOOK AT ME WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU! Move unnaturally slow, especially when you’re scared out of your wits and have a gun and/or flashlight pointed in your face. If they say STAY STILL AND LAY ON THE GROUND, treat it like Simon Says and only do the first one. It’ll save your life. If they repeat the same command, don’t ask them WHICH ONE, as that will be interpreted as sassing, making their hashtagging you in their minds justified,  since that’s all the proof they need that you’re not a GOOD N***ER who knows your place and theirs in society.  Fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres! (Only need 5 min to get the jist) Don’t blame you if that’s NOT your conviction. Takes a lot of research and LISTENING to come to this obvious conclusion in a society that conditions us to laud our police  with the caveats of NOT ALL and IT’S A DANGEROUS AND THANKLESS JOB DESERVING HONOR AND RESPECT. And the AG’s announcement, as milktoast as it is (and only coming after the disparity in treatment at the Capitol), has to be dug up, instead of it being front page news across the nation! How can you have a conviction about firing ALL of the white cops from elsewheres when DiBlasio,  the white mayor with the Black family who ran for prez fired Pantaleo, the murderer of Eric Garner only last year, against the mandate of the DNC warning lib candidates to show us no love. Or that NY police departments (plural) are still under investigation for running CHILD rape rings! Or that Louima was sodomized by cops with beatings that loosened ...

 Those who brought their CHILDREN to lynchings dressed in their Sunday best are not ghouls or monsters or any more racist than white folk are today. They’re just people conditioned to do what white savagery tells them is acceptable. And decades from now, they’ll scapegoat the white folk today who ignore the hashtags, refuse to say fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres, creating the most incarcerating nation on the planet...EVER! All while continuing their 22nd century conditioned evils without a thought of repenting. It’s like there’s some sort of spell...

 Their narrative allows us to call out our scapegoats and say ‘Fire 45 and the Republican Party!’  And not one christian will dare bring ‘civilian affairs’ or ‘hate only breeds hate’ into it because white lives and laws affecting white people are involved, (correction: white lives not specifically standing up for Black lives. They have abhorrent names for white folk who back us; one of them is ‘race traitor’. That’s why Kyle Rittenhouse gets high fives from white cops from elsewheres and continued support - financial and otherwise - even though he shot 3 unarmed white men (supporting Black lives), killing 2 and maiming 1 (the 3rd man lost his arm). It’s also why there’s ZERO coverage on their lives and the lives of their families. Because the media does not allow any sympathy for white people who protest against the oppression of Black people.  With all these postings about white folk storming the Capitol, there’s been zero gaslighting with: ‘Hate only breeds hate’ ‘Calling out the evil fosters evil’ ‘It’s all negativity’ ‘I choose to focus on the good things!’ ‘Civilian affair’ ‘Calling out the crime is criminal too’ ‘Let’s wait for the WHOLE story’ And let’s admit that it feels good for a change to walk around in common solidarity for once and say CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS NONSENSE?!? But that won’t stop the hashtags, though.
