SHOW ME THE MONEY

 All of the US police unions (even in liberal central NY and LA) are squarely in 45’s corner but the money that buys off both parties commands the DNC to make sure that its candidates stay mum on all of it;

yet liberals STILL expect a record turnout of Black folk in swing states to turn the tide of the election once again.

And the hashtags with impunity happen all over America - including the swing states. Commonsense tells me that if I wouldn’t vote even if in a swing state, even knowing that a 2nd term is at stake, then why would they?

And I fully understand Black folk spouting Rock the Vote as opposed to leverage the vote, since it follows their white liberal media masters guidelines. Been there and done that.

And when they lose...again, their media will have their blame-game scapegoats in full effect to deflect from the obvious:

It’s white women who ignore trumps misogyny. It’s poor conservatives who vote against their own interests to feel good about their whiteness once again.

It’s Black voters in swing states who once again didn’t show up en-masse like they did for Obama. It’s that darned electoral college system which we NEVER get around to abolishing.

It’s the Russians who’ve hijacked our elections! It’s all of the Black folk secretly in league with 45. (That last one is kinda laughable, but it’s successfully put out there when anyone questions the system itself).

They used to do that in the mid 20th century as well. If you wanted to unionize, you weren’t really an American but a commie pinko etc. and we fall for it every time.

So not only can the outcome be predicted, commonsense tells us the excuses that will be made for it and what will happen when we question these lame, predictable narratives. If only we’d listen.

It’s like there’s some sort of spell preventing folk from seeing the obvious. Either we break the spell or the spell breaks us.

Can’t wait ‘til we have our own media. Everything changes.

When white folk dump, we can’t get Angry about it

I got angry over a white (almost white) person saying that I’m overreacting. Immediately afterwards, I berated myself, thinking that I should’ve held my cool. But just as we laud those black heroes who articulate the pain rather than express it, we condemn ourselves for feeling what is normal to feel.  Part of colonization says that I have no right to be angry and that my anger is naturally perceived as a threat so it’s in my best interest to hold my tongue. This is not normal. We must break the economic, physical, emotional and spiritual consequences to be true human beings. Otherwise we’re just lying to ourselves. “How dare they get angry over our oppression of them!”

The Kerner Commission of 1968

“Our nation is moving towards two societies: one white, one black — separate and unequal.” - Kerner Commission 1968 And this statement was made 4 years after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which was supposed to ‘correct’ the separate and unequal. What we gained from that era is essential: the right to vote, the right to use the same facilities including bathrooms, water fountains, restaurants, libraries and schools. But during that same time, we lost our media and its narrative. Black reporters were needed to report on the Black experience and the white papers paid much better. And when the Black papers went defunct, the Black reporters (in their previous numbers) were no longer necessary. So we had no narrative to guide us into the new era. White establishments were ‘better’ so we abandoned the Black ones.  And most of our businesses dried up along with our ability to employ one another. So now we had to inordinately seek out white establishments (that...

BAN ALL OF THE WHITE GAZE COMMENTS!

BAN ALL OF THE WHITE GAZE COMMENTS! They strain at a gnat yet swallow a camel! Toxic...yet effective! I’ll be gone in January so let me leave a few tips: And if you contend with their banter (right or wrong), the truth of say the Native genocide HORROR gets lost in the sauce. They refuse to lament over the evils of the past and so reflexively, in their denial and dissonance, engage in banter meant to distract. Example: we say that we heard that ‘picnic’ means pick a n**ger to lynch. They’ll quickly chime in that that’s not the word’s etymology. They’re like SNOPES; pretending to be impartial but only (with maybe a few exceptions) chiming in on the negative regarding race. Or they’ll agree with what we’re saying but insist that we label them the exception. NOT YOU, BRADLEY! NOT YOU, VIRGINIA! The HORROR of how they’d accuse an innocent Black man (often a small business owner),  jail them, schedule their public hanging in the paper and have men, women and CHILDREN come out dressed in...
