Black Belt Commonsense

 I had been COINTELPRO’d. It took Ife and Ashtart to straighten me out about how reparations (which has gone to every other oppressed group) is our right as well - as we deserve the most for our hardships. In the same way, ANY leader who is not for reparations NOW is either on the payroll or drinks the Kool-Aid voluntarily saying, ‘Mmm mmm Good!’ But these days, knowing that reparations has been mandated off the agenda, it’s harder to tell. My current litmus is whether they’re willing to say, ‘Fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres patrolling and brutalizing Black spaces. If they’re willing to say Rock the Vote but not that, they’re COINTELPRO’d. If they’re willing to say ‘Arm yourselves!’ but not fire ALL of the ones we’re arming ourselves against, then they’ve been COINTELPRO’d. If they say that we need to pool our money, boycott, start our own businesses,  create our own schools and the like but not fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres who are the arms and legs pr...

 Again, (and I would LOVE! ❤️ to be wrong about this and renounce social media FOREVER as a gamble but so far I’m batting a thousand), 45 will win in November just as he won in 2016 and escaped impeachment in January as predicted and here are 10 reasons why: 1. White people vote pretty much the same way EVERY TIME; if anything, they leaned more conservative during the 2nd term of the Obama years. 2. You can’t take down 45 without tackling white savagery, which is the foundation on which he stands, and since no candidate is saying reparations or firing ALL of the white cops from elsewheres... 3. The DNC and the GOP are two wings of the same corrupt bird feeding off of our carcasses, so do not expect little satan to drive out big Satan anytime soon. 4. The electoral college means that it comes down to Black folk (en masse) voting in swing states, and right now they have NO reason to brave the polls. 5. Anybody but... is not a reason.  About a year ago during this time, I created a habit of tipping the cashiers who check out my groceries one dollar. As the Winter Holidays approached, I suggested to them and their managers a ‘tip jar’ at each register and they all agreed! But when the jars disappeared, I asked what happened and they said that many of the customers balked at seeing it! Now keep in mind, I live on the Upper East Side, still one of the whitest and richest areas of NYC! So folk balk at giving money to the homeless ‘because you just don’t know what they’ll spend it on plus scammers’ and folk balk at tip jars for grocery clerks (essential workers) but are quick to scapegoat store chains and presidents  and ‘the system’ while going from ALL LIVES to BLACK LIVES MATTER in a span of a heartbeat because it’s’trending’! Fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres! What white people don’t understand (or maybe do understand and don’t care) is that if someone Black like me  who’s never even smoked a cigarette in his life gets targeted by cops and ‘flaked’ (cops plant drugs on me), then I won’t take a plea deal, will pay for bail, will pay for a lawyer until the charges are finally dismissed while they continue to do this to countless others who look like me who might’ve smoked a cigarette or more and who cannot afford bail and who might cop a plea deal, gaining a record. The thing about a record is that someone like me  could no longer teach CHILDREN chess in school or out. Schools often check to see if you have a record of ANY kind. But in either scenario, the white cops from elsewheres bypass justice. And if they are fired, they’re rehired elsewheres with a strong police union and a Gofundme to boot.
