I also remember a lot of so-called Blackety Black (white sponsored) news outlets like Dr. Boyce Watkins’ Your Black World and Tavis Smiley calling what Obama did cronyism instead of the racism that was right in front of our lying eyes.

If we had banded together back then, we could’ve stopped many of the hashtags that followed. Oh well.
