BACK IN MY MORE NAIVE DAYS 4 YEARS AGO

Community policing ONLY!

Fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres and train and hire within with mandates from the community itself

and watch 95% of our newsfeed just **poof** disappear.

The following is back in my more naive days (4 years ago) when I believed that equal justice was a remote possibility:

"We're desensitized to so many things. We're not shocked that a cop would manhandle a woman in this way.

We're not shocked in the Mayberry way he handled the first car (with the white woman) in the long video and the Gestapo way he manhandled Sandra, 'I will light you up!'

Our media, when we get it, will label this cop and others like him - COWARD!

We're not shocked that the Black female cop backs his story even though we see from the cam that she wasn't even there!

Or how cops murder our CHILDREN (not yours!) while playing in a gazebo clearly lying about warning him 3x in the space of less than 2 seconds!

That the racist coroner quickly labels [Sandra Bland’s] death a suicide.

That the tapes are doctored both at the traffic stop and at the jail.

That people DARE come to our posts pretending to be allies, but are actually tone policing!

That no-one in the racist media says the truth - that her murder, like ALL the other 'suicides' and racist killings

makes every cop and worker in that prison complicit in her death. The cameras didn't just happen to turn off.

They didn't just happen to not check on her at the time of the 'incident'.

Again, the coroner didn't just happen to label Sandra's death a suicide. Or have we forgotten what happened the last time a coroner disagreed with the official narrative.

Well, in case you have, Shiping Bao, the Chinese coroner of 19 years experience said that Trayvon Martin could not have engaged in any ground n pound on Zimmermann.

The prosecutor quashed that testimony, the judge doled out a false ruling, making it near impossible to convict on the

evidence, the defence and the media expounded on the ground n pound scenario, even throwing in a brick or two as

possible weapons at the 'victim's' disposal. And they fired the coroner for not going along with the program.

And just to triple down on the racial animus, the liberal of liberals, former President Jimmy Carter AND Colin Powell

both backed the ground n pound scenario. And even now, no-one has called them to apologize.

That even when cops are convicted for murder, the sentencing is privileged, the prison is privileged, and the treatment when they get out is privileged.

That there is never any thought of giving white murderers of Black men, women and CHILDREN the death penalty in a death penalty state.

And to that I say again that the death penalty can't only be for the Ted Bundys of the world...and Black people."

When white folk dump, we can’t get Angry about it

I got angry over a white (almost white) person saying that I’m overreacting. Immediately afterwards, I berated myself, thinking that I should’ve held my cool. But just as we laud those black heroes who articulate the pain rather than express it, we condemn ourselves for feeling what is normal to feel.  Part of colonization says that I have no right to be angry and that my anger is naturally perceived as a threat so it’s in my best interest to hold my tongue. This is not normal. We must break the economic, physical, emotional and spiritual consequences to be true human beings. Otherwise we’re just lying to ourselves. “How dare they get angry over our oppression of them!”

Rigged Legal System

Search words: Rigged Legal System, Gauntlet of oppression, racial profiling throughout  Years ago on jury duty, I was asked to render a ‘fair and impartial’ judgement regarding a young Black man accused of possession on the Upper East Side. There were only two Black people on the jury, myself and another dude. After a very long time, we ended up finding the defendant guilty. That’s the end of the story but not the narrative. The twelve main things I came to realize: 1. Several Black potential jurors were citing a mantra about their unwillingness to participate in a prejudiced judicial system. It was my first time hearing it but should I be called again, I’ll google it and voice my objection in the same way. 2. The suspect was stopped for a broken taillight, but as his wife said when she examined their car at the station, the light was never broken. 3. The white judge, however, ruled that the bust was still legit even though he was clearly stopped for drivin...

ON REPARATIONS

Never banter with white folk about reparations. It’s like arguing with your boss about wages they haven’t paid you. The only acceptable answer, whether they can give it or not, is “Yeah… You right!” Anything less from them is pure toxicity.
