THE CHINESE CONNECTION AND THE USELESSNESS OF TIME TRAVEL

THE CHINESE CONNECTION AND THE USELESSNESS OF TIME TRAVEL

So...the Chinese gov’t is doing the white people thing of not only evicting Africans in China from their homes and barring them from eating establishments due to virus fears

but they’re doing the Jedi trick of lying about what’s being done, saying that what you see right in front of your eyes is not really happening.

I wish that they had at least done what India does; have an open caste system where the lighter they are, the more privileges they receive. Or even the Brits where they’re hooked on lineage and pedigree. It’s all evil; but at least it’s upfront evil.

Of course folk will try and justify the hate and obfuscation by equivocating; comparing evictions of Africans in China with the shutting down of Chinese establishments in Africa because they bar Africans from their places of business.

To prevent what’s happening today, we’d need to have started changing attitudes 20 years ago. But even if I could go back in time, we’d have no media in place to disseminate such a narrative - same as today.

Timing is everything with TODAY always being the most powerful day of all.

Image if I had banned the white gaze 12 years ago instead of 2 years back? Then, white folk on my page would’ve had a decade longer to come to the conviction that,

‘Hey, maybe I’m a big part of the problem and not just that guy or that ‘racist system’ over there! Maybe my superior intellect and upbringing does not make me as immune

to the racist conditioning as I’d like to believe! And maybe, if I’m a big part of the problem, then my repentance, conversely, will make me a big part of the solution!’

The bad news is that our wittle online social pages will only make the slightest dent in the massive media onslaught.

The good news, as there is some, is that when no one is repenting of the obvious evils, the one or two or three who do will stand out like a beacon during a terrible night.

But until that happens, I will lament over our current plight; weep and wail for that is what we’re called to do.

We’re better than this. You know it; I know it. We ALL know it. Yet here we are.

Can’t wait ‘til we have our own media. Everything changes.

ON REPARATIONS

Never banter with white folk about reparations. It’s like arguing with your boss about wages they haven’t paid you. The only acceptable answer, whether they can give it or not, is “Yeah… You right!” Anything less from them is pure toxicity.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSUASION AND CONVICTION

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSUASION AND CONVICTION Decades ago, in my teens, my oldest brother and I had a talk where I said, “Can you believe that they’re having another gay pride parade?” He told me that he participated in a gay pride parade. Then we just stared at one another - and because many don’t know how to communicate without language, I will translate: Me: (But you’re not gay) Him: (True, but our struggle is their struggle and theirs is ours) Me: (Hmmm. Now I have to rethink everything because this is my brother whom I love challenging my core beliefs). I was persuaded that day. Today, my brother is long dead but I’m still reposting. That’s called CONVICTION.

Rigged Legal System

Search words: Rigged Legal System, Gauntlet of oppression, racial profiling throughout  Years ago on jury duty, I was asked to render a ‘fair and impartial’ judgement regarding a young Black man accused of possession on the Upper East Side. There were only two Black people on the jury, myself and another dude. After a very long time, we ended up finding the defendant guilty. That’s the end of the story but not the narrative. The twelve main things I came to realize: 1. Several Black potential jurors were citing a mantra about their unwillingness to participate in a prejudiced judicial system. It was my first time hearing it but should I be called again, I’ll google it and voice my objection in the same way. 2. The suspect was stopped for a broken taillight, but as his wife said when she examined their car at the station, the light was never broken. 3. The white judge, however, ruled that the bust was still legit even though he was clearly stopped for drivin...
