REPENTING OF RACISM

REPENTING OF RACISM

Racism means that firing ALL of the white cops from elsewheres patrolling Black spaces

who hashtag, frame, brutalize, flood our streets with drugs and guns and whisk our kids away in CHILD rape rings

to them and to others is considered ‘radical’ and ‘racist’, needing more ‘moderate’ measures like bodycams,

civilian oversight and liability insurance instead, because the underlying racist premise that we’re programmed to think

but NEVER (or rarely) say is that we are incapable of policing ourselves and that white cops from elsewheres are the last

bastion of defense against utter chaos in our streets. But let just one cop do to them a fraction of what’s been done to us

and the whole world 🌍 upends where they’ll fire, suspend or ban an entire precinct - including its chief - for the ill action of just one or two.

To maintain this delusion, they have back to back cop and lawyer shows running 24/7 on tv along with a media and

legal system that obfuscates the truth unless they can put a Black (or brown) face as the culprit.

Again, CHILDREN, racism that is conscious mal-intent is 1% of our problem. The other 99% is...

You ever play the association game?

Black > white

Up > down

Left > right

Drugs > Escobars

Crime of the century > OJ

Reparations > handout

Black people > lazy

Coronavirus?

And I could go on.

The same is true for many of our other ills. Only a fraction of the 1% pull all the strings with mal-intent

(and their strings are pulled by greed and the like, believing the demonic fallacies of ‘In order for you to have more, I must have less’ and ‘There’s not enough to go around’ and ‘Survival of the fittest’ and ‘Rugged individualism’ and ‘Advancement, by nature, comes at a price’)

with truth mixed in with the lies we tell ourselves. But it’s the 99% of us who continue to play our marionette parts that keep this ship of evil afloat.

The helm of the ship says ‘stroke’ and we say ‘What can I do? I’m just paddling with one oar! If I make waves, they’ll throw me off. Trouble is that we’re headed over a fall.

Being a christian (the real kind) gives me a unique perspective. When I point out the fall ahead or the fact that

the ones in the back of the boat are mal-treated or that the boat is leaking in the middle and we need to take the time

to patch it up or we’ll all drown and you say I’m overreacting, my biggest concern is not that you listen, but that I did EVERYTHING IN MY POWER to dissuade you according to the rules.

And what are the rules, you say? We all know the rules. They’re ingrained in us. We just choose not to follow and/ or our hearts become so hard that we no longer care.

Now 9x out of 10, the natural order takes over. Children play with fire and they get burnt. So children learn not to play with fire and respect its power.

But every now and then, The Almighty intervenes directly. I can’t tell which. That is not my superpower. Nor do I need to know to tell you what’s what.

Commonsense, which is my superpower, says that if we repent of our racist conditionings here, an evil that has dominated our land for far too long, a domino effect will

result. But if we do not, we and/or those around us will continue to exist in squalor and pain and abuse for no other

reason than we chose not to treat others as we’d like to be treated. And we need to understand that everyone wants to

put down the oar but our ingrained conditioning prevents it. But mark this; we are ALWAYS just one or two oars away from

changing EVERYTHING! Evil always hangs by a thread. Pull it just a little and the whole tapestry begins to unravel.

Be well.

Rigged Legal System

Search words: Rigged Legal System, Gauntlet of oppression, racial profiling throughout  Years ago on jury duty, I was asked to render a ‘fair and impartial’ judgement regarding a young Black man accused of possession on the Upper East Side. There were only two Black people on the jury, myself and another dude. After a very long time, we ended up finding the defendant guilty. That’s the end of the story but not the narrative. The twelve main things I came to realize: 1. Several Black potential jurors were citing a mantra about their unwillingness to participate in a prejudiced judicial system. It was my first time hearing it but should I be called again, I’ll google it and voice my objection in the same way. 2. The suspect was stopped for a broken taillight, but as his wife said when she examined their car at the station, the light was never broken. 3. The white judge, however, ruled that the bust was still legit even though he was clearly stopped for drivin...

ON REPARATIONS

Never banter with white folk about reparations. It’s like arguing with your boss about wages they haven’t paid you. The only acceptable answer, whether they can give it or not, is “Yeah… You right!” Anything less from them is pure toxicity.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSUASION AND CONVICTION

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSUASION AND CONVICTION Decades ago, in my teens, my oldest brother and I had a talk where I said, “Can you believe that they’re having another gay pride parade?” He told me that he participated in a gay pride parade. Then we just stared at one another - and because many don’t know how to communicate without language, I will translate: Me: (But you’re not gay) Him: (True, but our struggle is their struggle and theirs is ours) Me: (Hmmm. Now I have to rethink everything because this is my brother whom I love challenging my core beliefs). I was persuaded that day. Today, my brother is long dead but I’m still reposting. That’s called CONVICTION.
