HOW DO DEVELOP COMMONSENSE
One of the many reasons why we keep falling for the same okey doke is frankly, people do not care about other people.
I don’t mean it in a malicious way; I’m saying that we (and when I say ‘we’ I mean mostly white folk but not discluding us) are conditioned to only care for ourselves.
And given that this pandemic appears to affect us all, it’s a perfect opportunity to build your common sense skills now that we have this common threat,
so that later, when the common threat has receded, you can use these techniques and not just parrot what everyone else is saying.
Commonsense requires at least 5 things:
1. Information. Without verifiable info, we cannot speak confidently on anything. And we do not have that. More on this later.
2. Integrity. We should act on the little info that we do have. Wash your hands with soap and water. Stay indoors if possible to keep the virus from spreading. Apologize when we’re wrong. Apparently we have trouble even with the simplest of tasks because we lack integrity.
3. Conviction. When we do know something, we stand by it and do not waffle.
4. Imagination. It helps to free the mind from erroneous but incessant narratives.
5. Pattern recognition. The flip side of imagination. 2+2=4 and all that. When their premise doesn’t quite add up, red flags should go off in our heads and we should question.
Back to 1, information. Put what they say in your own words. It helps to break the spell, even for the weak-minded.
When old Ben says, ‘These are not the droids you’re looking for’, don’t regurgitate, ‘These are not the droids I’m looking for’.
Instead, say it in your own words: ‘So what you’re saying is that the droids that I am looking for who look exactly like these droids are actually not them’.
You see the power of using your own words to state what they say? Now let’s break from Star Wars and apply it to current events.
‘So what they’re saying is that some people from a major city in China ate some bad fish stew, contracted this virus and now it has spread all over the world 🌍 deeply impacting Italy of all places’.
‘And somehow, Cuba of all places (since with all of the sanctions and embargoes we’ve placed on them over the years, they have to keep refurbishing car parts from the 50’s) is the 1st to create a vaccine’.
‘The safeguards for these outbreaks just happened to be dismantled because 45 was just jonesin’ to dismantle everything the Black guy set up.
‘CEO’s just happen to be resigning in record numbers. Democrats and Republicans have both been caught pulling out of the stock market due to advanced intel - which apparently is illegal.’
So what does this all mean and how does it help? The answer is we’re not done yet.
Let’s jump to 4 and 5. Imagination and pattern recognition. What’s the pattern that they’re trying to spin? Someone from a city in China made their way to Bergammo Italy, a hot spot for the virus?
It doesn’t make sense?!? Even assuming that Italy is somehow the place to go over the UK (which is equally distant) or France, wouldn’t Rome or Venice or Tuscany make more sense? Bergammo doesn’t even make the minor cities to visit list.
It’s like saying that someone’s gonna travel from China to the US and not go to NYC or LA but Duluth, Minnesota!
Now here’s where imagination mixes in. What if someone’s diet, (our diets don’t change much and neither does our food) wasn’t the initial cause?
What if the virus was duh, duh duh! created? The rational suspects would be Cuba, who first came up with the cure, and Africa, since the hot climate keeps the virus from spreading quickly on the entire continent.
Of course, that’s not our pattern. We’d expect something like this from the Super powers like the US, China and Russia.
And as for the US, germ warfare would not be our first rodeo. It’s important to bring these ideas up because they told us that AIDS initially came from eating monkey brains in Africa.
These are the same folk who experimented on us with syphilis injections AFTER the cure was found for 40 YEARS! And they only stopped because they got busted!
So they can’t be trusted with the origins of ANYTHING! The protocols, however, are commonsense.
So again, how does this help us? Well, we just have to bear through. But convictions means that we don’t forget the lessons learned. Their narrative can’t be trusted because they are untrustworthy, lying to us repeatedly!
Integrity means that we act on our convictions and call out the evils. Like the mass homelessness in NYC.
Because I know about the CHILD rape rings run by cops, I speak on that. I know about Jussie’s corroborating eyewitnesses so I speak on that and the fact that CPD then most likely coerced those confessions from the workout brothers, as is their pattern.
As more and more of my misogynoir conditioning is exposed, I share it with the world 🌍
We see who actually needs whom now so don’t forget it. And how much the environment changes when we’re
not around, so don’t settle for archaic, outdated fuels anymore.
And when cops say that the next hashtag was justified, either have the gumption back me when I say FIRE ALL OF THE WHITE COPS FROM ELSEWHERES or stay off my page until it’s your CHILD shot dead in the back for ‘resisting’.
That’s the harder way of gaining convictions; just ask Mamie Till Mobley.
