THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE OF THE DNC AND THE GOP

THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE OF THE DNC AND THE GOP

The only lib candidate worthy of my vote was DiBlasio for keeping his word in ousting cop Pantaleo, the murderer of  Eric Garner. But the DNC in their smoking memo

warned ALL dems not to show us any love and so he was dropped soon after. No one else comes close to earning my vote but the top runner is Bloomberg for his stop n frisk

stance apology, even though he used prison/slave labor in his campaign. Let that sink in. In the past, I would blame Bernie; but now we see the DNC pulling all the strings

(except Bloomberg’s because he funds his own campaigns). Anyone with a modicum of commonsense can see that the DNC and the GOP’s goal is to keep the reigns of power

balanced, hopping back and forth from one party to another in an unholy agreement. Even with their professional predictors being surprised about Trump’s election last time,

(something many Black folk saw coming ahead of time and even spoofed on SNL), overcoming their racist denial and saying that should nothing radically change, 45’s

got it in the bag this time as well, they continue the same pattern. And these are really smart people so you know it’s on purpose this time! And please don’t do the white liberal

thing and say, ‘Well you’ve just gotta get out and rock that vote or you’re responsible for whatever happens after!’ The majority of white people vote republican and the trend has

only been increasing since Obama became prez. We saw your fear of a Black planet 🌍 firsthand and the ONLY way you’re ever gonna get a grip on your conditioning is

to acknowledge it. Now you can hate on me all you want but understand that my voting or not voting in liberal town NY means nothing, but as goes my vote, so goes my nation.

Now if it is as easy as rolling out of bed and taking 5 minutes with the polling station on my block and I still won’t do it, imagine the Black voters in swing states en-masse

who face all kinds of harassments and lines that are hours long! What’s their incentive? The DNC deliberately kept the candidates from giving us one; and this is by design!

It’s like I’m talking to myself here...

When white folk dump, we can’t get Angry about it

I got angry over a white (almost white) person saying that I’m overreacting. Immediately afterwards, I berated myself, thinking that I should’ve held my cool. But just as we laud those black heroes who articulate the pain rather than express it, we condemn ourselves for feeling what is normal to feel.  Part of colonization says that I have no right to be angry and that my anger is naturally perceived as a threat so it’s in my best interest to hold my tongue. This is not normal. We must break the economic, physical, emotional and spiritual consequences to be true human beings. Otherwise we’re just lying to ourselves. “How dare they get angry over our oppression of them!”

The Kerner Commission of 1968

“Our nation is moving towards two societies: one white, one black — separate and unequal.” - Kerner Commission 1968 And this statement was made 4 years after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which was supposed to ‘correct’ the separate and unequal. What we gained from that era is essential: the right to vote, the right to use the same facilities including bathrooms, water fountains, restaurants, libraries and schools. But during that same time, we lost our media and its narrative. Black reporters were needed to report on the Black experience and the white papers paid much better. And when the Black papers went defunct, the Black reporters (in their previous numbers) were no longer necessary. So we had no narrative to guide us into the new era. White establishments were ‘better’ so we abandoned the Black ones.  And most of our businesses dried up along with our ability to employ one another. So now we had to inordinately seek out white establishments (that...

BAN ALL OF THE WHITE GAZE COMMENTS!

BAN ALL OF THE WHITE GAZE COMMENTS! They strain at a gnat yet swallow a camel! Toxic...yet effective! I’ll be gone in January so let me leave a few tips: And if you contend with their banter (right or wrong), the truth of say the Native genocide HORROR gets lost in the sauce. They refuse to lament over the evils of the past and so reflexively, in their denial and dissonance, engage in banter meant to distract. Example: we say that we heard that ‘picnic’ means pick a n**ger to lynch. They’ll quickly chime in that that’s not the word’s etymology. They’re like SNOPES; pretending to be impartial but only (with maybe a few exceptions) chiming in on the negative regarding race. Or they’ll agree with what we’re saying but insist that we label them the exception. NOT YOU, BRADLEY! NOT YOU, VIRGINIA! The HORROR of how they’d accuse an innocent Black man (often a small business owner),  jail them, schedule their public hanging in the paper and have men, women and CHILDREN come out dressed in...
