THE BEST WHITE PEOPLE

THE BEST WHITE PEOPLE

The best white people might acknowledge their racist conditioning but not one of them laments over it.

When was the last time you fasted and prayed over it? Or have you EVER fasted and prayed over your skewed mindset.

So in fact, the most spiritual among you are not spiritual at all when it comes to race. And how high would you rate the problem of race in America - or in the world for that matter?

Who have you conscripted to help you with your conditioned problem? Or do you even see it as a problem with you at all?!?

As a fellow teacher, are you willing and humble enough to learn from your students who know far, far more about this issue than you do?

Or will you continue to boast about how you’ve done all the readings from your white whisperers like Jane Elliott,

prof. DiAngelo and the other 2 white guys (of which I prefer Dixon White because he’s more honest about where he’s at now and where he was before)?

I’ve had to conscript my chess students AND their parents and everyone I know, including those on my social media pages when dealing with my sexist, homophobic and Anti-Semitic and Anti-Muslim conditioning!

I’ve had to boast about my failings and continually apologize to boot! I weep and I walk over my sin!

And when you see me pointing out through basic commonsense what should have been clear to you years or even decades before,

know that God’s wisdom demands a sacrifice of doing it God’s way. And the sacrifice is continual.

Humility makes one smart while denial makes you stupid. Intelligence alone will not lift the veil. Trust me on this. I’m very smart. And often, my great intellect harms more than helps because it’s used to defend my conditioned, erroneous beliefs.

Now TODAY, you can either heed these words and repent or continue with your regularly scheduled programming.

The wisest among you started out on their journey to explore racism’s effects with impure motives - to prove that white character will out.

And when other folk came to him after he repented and asked what the negroes wanted, he said ‘Why don’t you ask them? And when they give you their answers, try doing what they say.’

They wound up chasing him and his family out of the country!

The reason why you don’t know your real heroes is that they were NEVER taught.

And when they are, like John Brown, the narrative is relegated to ‘That crazy White Man!’

Can’t wait ‘til we have our own media. Everything changes.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSUASION AND CONVICTION

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSUASION AND CONVICTION Decades ago, in my teens, my oldest brother and I had a talk where I said, “Can you believe that they’re having another gay pride parade?” He told me that he participated in a gay pride parade. Then we just stared at one another - and because many don’t know how to communicate without language, I will translate: Me: (But you’re not gay) Him: (True, but our struggle is their struggle and theirs is ours) Me: (Hmmm. Now I have to rethink everything because this is my brother whom I love challenging my core beliefs). I was persuaded that day. Today, my brother is long dead but I’m still reposting. That’s called CONVICTION.

ON SCAPEGOATING WHITE SAVAGERY

Those who brought their CHILDREN to lynchings dressed in their Sunday best are not ghouls or monsters or any more racist than white folk are today. They’re just people conditioned to do what white savagery tells them is acceptable. And decades from now, they’ll scapegoat the white folk today who ignore the hashtags, refuse to say fire ALL of the white cops from elsewheres, creating the most incarcerating nation on the planet...EVER! All while continuing their 22nd century conditioned evils without a thought of repenting. It’s like there’s some sort of spell...

When white folk dump, we can’t get Angry about it

I got angry over a white (almost white) person saying that I’m overreacting. Immediately afterwards, I berated myself, thinking that I should’ve held my cool. But just as we laud those black heroes who articulate the pain rather than express it, we condemn ourselves for feeling what is normal to feel.  Part of colonization says that I have no right to be angry and that my anger is naturally perceived as a threat so it’s in my best interest to hold my tongue. This is not normal. We must break the economic, physical, emotional and spiritual consequences to be true human beings. Otherwise we’re just lying to ourselves. “How dare they get angry over our oppression of them!”
